JoeLucky39.com is the official web site of artist/developer Joe Fitzgerald.
Joe Fitzgerald was born in Boston, Massachusetts, but has lived in South Florida for the past 38 years.
Joe began to draw at the age of 13 when he fell in love with the work of comic book creators such as Frank Miller, Klaus Janson and John Byrne. After highschool, Joe, attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.
Upon graduating from the Art Institute he quickly learned that it is a long hard penniless journey that an artist must take in order to one day earn a living. So, Joe entered the Broward Fire Academy to become a Fire fighter. He then attended the South Technical Institute to become state certified as a medic.
Working as a Fire Fighter for a couple of years was very fulfilling for Joe. He made many life-long friends and found the work very rewarding. But, Joe struggled with the
thought of making a career out of the Fire Service. Joe Fitzgerald is a creative individual and needs an avenue of expression that the Fire Service just didn't provide.
During the Fall of 1997 Joe was thumbing through the classifieds when he came across an ad that read, "Learn to design web sites..."
Joe attended Keiser College and learned to become a web designer. This has been a very successful endeavor, for Joe Fitzgerald, from his first Job at WWWI designing small 6 page web sites to now where Joe works as a graphic artist/Web Developer/Email Marketer for NBC Universal. Joe has found the creative outlet he wants and the economic freedom that he needs.
Personally, Joe Fitzgerald is now married with two lovely children and lives in south Florida. His house has a big yard where his 5 year old son, will learn to play football and his 2 year old daughter will learn to play soccer and the schools in the area are all "A" rated. Joe's wife works for a competing network and everyone is doing great.
