About
JoeLucky39.com is the official web site of artist/developer Joe Fitzgerald.
Joe Fitzgerald was born in Boston, Massachusetts, but has lived in South Florida for the past 42 years.
Joe began to draw at the age of 13 when he fell in love with the work of comic book creators such as Frank Miller, Klaus Janson and John Byrne. After highschool, Joe, attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.
Upon graduating from the Art Institute he quickly learned that it is a long hard penniless journey that an artist must take in order to one day earn a living. So, Joe entered the Broward Fire Academy to become a Fire fighter. He then attended the South Technical Institute to become state certified as a medic.
Working as a Fire Fighter for a couple of years was very fulfilling for Joe. He made many life-long friends and found the work very rewarding. But, Joe struggled with the
thought of making a career out of the Fire Service. Joe Fitzgerald is a creative individual and needs an avenue of expression that the Fire Service just didn't provide.
During the Fall of 1997 Joe was thumbing through the classifieds when he came across an ad that read, "Learn to design web sites..."
Joe attended Keiser College and learned to become a web designer. This has been a very rewarding endeavor, for Joe Fitzgerald. Currently Joe Fitzgerald has branched out into the world of Mobile Applications and hopes to be able to post some tutorials in the near future.
Personally, Joe Fitzgerald is now married with two lovely children. My son is 9 years old and my daughter is 6 years old.
